More of us

Here are some new pictures! We had a really good Sunday together. I got to nap from 7:30 until about 11:30. Then we got up and went to church. Owen is such a good baby whenever we take him places! He is so happy! He is four months now and we are enjoying him SO much. We absolutely love being parents. Going back to work has been a little bit of a hard adjustment. It's been four weeks now and I now understand a whole new level of exhaustion... seems like I can't remember anything anymore and I always look a little haggard.. haha.. What do you do, that's life I guess!? Owen has his four month appointment this week so we will see the new weigh in!

I love being a Mommy!

I say it all the time I know. But it's so fun being the mommy to my adorable little Owen. I love him so much! I don't know what I would do without him!!

My mom and I (with Jerry cutting and sanding) made these blocks for my sister-in-law that is adopting two kids from Ethiopia. I think they turned out so cute!
We are going to make some for Owen next!

3 Months!!!

Owen is 3 months! I can't believe how big he has gotten. He is such a good baby and loves to smile! We are so blessed to have him, he brings so much happiness to our lives. He loves to make squeal noises and coo a lot and he almost always has a BIG grin! He weighs about 15 pounds now. We couldn't be a happier family!

Owen's First Christmas

We had a great Christmas! Jerry was put on call on Christmas eve and his half shift on Christmas day so he was able to spend more time with us. We spent time with both families and dragged Owen back and forth, he is such a good baby! We spent Christmas Eve my (Adrienne's) family. All of my siblings were here with the exception of my oldest brother's family (we missed you guys!). It was really fun, I don't think we have had that many people here for a long time. On Christmas afternoon we headed over to Jerry's family's house for some more Christmas festivities. We had a good time over there and that evening celebrated Jerry's sister Raylene's birthday. It was a great Christmas. We are so blessed to have Owen in our lives, I don't know what we would do without him. We love him so much! He is getting so big and smiling SO big, we love it! Not too much

Not too much to blog about. I'm feeling stressed. I won't bore you with those things. Owen is so much fun. He was spitting up so much I decided to pay more attention to what exactly I was eating when he had his worst days. So.. sad discovery.. no more caffeine, chocolate, or dairy of any kind :( SAD DAY! It's been really hard but he is SO much more happy and spits up so much less. He is having a hard time sleeping in a bed though. We spoiled him beyond belief when he was brand new (we couldn't put him down!) and now he has a really hard time sleeping alone. I have been working with him for the past couple of days to let me lay him down for naps and at night to sleep. Last night he slept in his crib for a WHOLE HOUR! Tonight I got him in there a little earlier and he is working on an hour now. I have to go back to work the week after Christmas and I am so sad! I am already worrying about it. For some reason I feel SO guilty whenever I leave Owen. I feel like I know him best and he will cry less if I am there... that's probably really lame but there you have it. Pathetic old Adrienne. Well... I better stop with this post.... its MUCHO DEPRESSING. Maybe tomorrow I will be in a better mood :p
